Talk at the Carter Library
With a threat of icy roads and snow in Atlanta, I was truly flattered and amazed by the audience that came out for my talk at the Carter Presidential Library on Thursday. There were academics, activists, artists, authors, friends, and families. The questions and feedback I received were remarkable, especially from the children in attendance.
My humble gratitude goes to the Carter Presidential Library. It was an absolute honor to present my work at such a remarkable place, founded on the legacy of a true humanitarian. My thanks to President and Mrs. Carter, Tony Clark, and everyone that braved the bad weather to be there.
