Update + MoMA Library
Long before now, I hoped to reveal plans for the next phase of the War-Toys Project, but it will be longer still before an announcement is ready. Eager as I am to get back into the field, there are opportunities brewing that I couldn't have foreseen. More than earning access, I'm working to forge partnerships that will have a lasting impact on the lives of affected children. It's worth being patient for, frustrating as it may be at times.
If all goes to plan, I'll have news to share towards the end of Summer. In the meantime, I thought you'd enjoy hearing some flattering news: The Museum of Modern Art in NYC has added a copy of War-Toys: Israel, West Bank, Gaza Strip to their library.
I am extremely honored to know that the relayed and recreated accounts of Israeli and Palestinian children will be preserved within the museum's collection. I hope that future work from other areas of conflict will earn a place alongside.
